Six-year limited warranty
Applies when ShingleLock is installed by an approved applicator. This page is a plain-language summary — the full limited warranty document governs, and you should read it.
What it covers
- +The product being free from defects in material under normal conditions
- +Maintained shingle flexibility for 6 years from the installation date
- +Replacement product for the affected roof area, or a refund of the product price, at ShingleLock's election
What it excludes
These exclusions matter. Our laboratory results describe how treated shingles performed under test — they are not a statement of warranty coverage, and we will not present them as one.
- ×Hail, high winds, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, fire, lightning, ice damming and other acts of God
- ×Roof leaks, water intrusion, and any resulting interior, structural or mould damage — the product is a shingle treatment, not a waterproofing membrane, sealant or roof repair
- ×Cosmetic and appearance change, including colour variation, fading, staining, and moss, algae or lichen growth
- ×Shingles that were already damaged, deteriorated or defective before application — curling, cracking, blistering, missing or loose shingles, severe granule loss, or active leaks
- ×Failure of the roof deck, underlayment, flashing, vents or gutters
- ×Roof surfaces other than asphalt shingles or asphalt roll roofing
- ×Improper application, dilution beyond the specified rate, or mixing with any other substance
- ×Normal weathering and the natural ageing of shingles
- ×Labour to apply replacement product
