Why it matters
A shingle needs both: stiff enough to hold its shape in heat and wind, flexible enough not to crack in cold. Most treatments improve one at the expense of the other.
What the test found
Aged shingles gained 50% flexibility and 85% stiffness at the same time. Improving both is unusual, and it is the single most technically distinctive result in the set.
